Sustainability explainer animation
An animated explainer for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, created to announce the organisation’s sustainability goals, including its commitment to reach net zero by 2030.
The film needed to bring together a wide range of ideas, from institutional change and environmental responsibility to practical action, while keeping the message clear, energetic and easy to follow.
This project was a good example of where animation can do things other media struggle with. Abstract concepts could become visual, transitions could connect one idea to the next, and a lot of information could be shaped into a short, cohesive sequence.
Working within LSHTM’s brand style and colour palette, I developed the concept and storyboard, then animated and edited the final piece. The result is a bright, fast-moving explainer that turns a broad sustainability strategy into something more immediate, visual and engaging.
